Posted: June 19, 2011

A suspicious device has been found on a cash machine at Morrison’s supermarket in Kendal.

A fake facia with a pinhole camera – designed to steal card and pin numbers – was discovered during maintainance checks.

Cumbria Police have taken the device away for forensic checks.

Kendal officers are warning the public to be vigilant when using machines, and avoid using a cash point if they notice anything suspicious.
