EX-COUNCILLOR EXPECTED TO PLEAD GUILTY TO CHILD SEX CRIMES

A former Cumbrian councillor accused of rape and sexual assault against children is back in court today.
Robert Anthony Brunskill stands accused of one charge of grooming, seven of sexual activity and nine counts of indecent assault.
The grooming and sexual activity charges relate to a Cumbrian boy over the last four years.
Meanwhile, the indecent assault charges are in connection to his time working at a school in Lancashire in the 1970s.
The 65-year old’s defence team say they expect him to enter a guilty plea today at Carlisle Crown Court.
