POLICE INVESTIGATE APPLEBY FAIR FIGHT

Police are investigating a fourth fight at the Appleby horsefair.

It happened just after 12.30 yesterday afternoon, where a man from Manchester had to be treated in hospital for back injuries.

Police say it’s an isolated incident and five men have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
