FORMER COUNCILLOR BACK IN COURT FACING SEX CHARGES

A former Cumbrian councillor who admitted a raft of child sex offences will be sentenced today.
65-year old Robert Anthony Brunskill – from near Penrith – pleaded guilty to 17 counts at Carlisle Crown Court last month.
They relate to grooming and abuse committed in Cumbria between 2008 and 2010; and sexual activity with a boy whilst he worked at a school in Lancashire in the 1970s.
