MAN INJURED,TWO HORSES KILLED AFTER M6 SLIPROAD CRASH

A man’s been seriously injured and two horses killed following an incident on the slip road just off the M6 in the Lake District at Shap.

A X-type Jaguar was in collision with the riders at junction 39 yesterday teatime.

A man in his 60′s was airlifted to hospital and a woman also needed treatment.

A male in his seventies has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to Kendal Police Station.
