An eighth man has pleaded guilty in connection with the seizure of £14million worth of cocaine by Cumbria Police and HM Revenue and Customs.
31 year old Peter William Bradshaw from Liverpool has pleaded guilty to conspiring to import 105kg of cocaine at Manchester Crown Court. He’ll be sentenced in October.
It relates to the seizure of 105kg of cocaine from two vehicles at Harwich docks in Essex in May 2008.
The drugs were found during an operation led by Cumbria Police, concealed inside pieces of furniture and had a street value of around £14million.
A Kendal man has already been jailed for 22 years for his involvement, after being found guilty of Conspiracy to Import Class A Drugs.
