DRUG DEALER ORDERED TO SELL CAR

A Bowness drug dealer who hid stashes of cannabis and amphetamine in a local wood has been ordered to sell his car to settle a bill under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Christopher Freeston’s been made to sign a document agreeing that he had benefited to the tune of more than £3,000 from his crimes.

The court heard his only asset was his car, so the judge gave him three months to sell it to find the money.

The 33 year old, of Fall Barrow Court was jailed for three years in September.
