GRANGE DRUG DEALER SPARED JAIL

GRANGE DRUG DEALER SPARED JAIL

Posted: January 28, 2012

A drug dealer from Grange has been spared jail.

Police caught Stuart Airey when officers noticed a strong smell of cannabis when they stopped his car.

The 22-year old admitted supplying the class B drug and possessing it with intent to supply.

Meanwhile, he also pleaded guilty to making an offer to supply cocaine.

The judge at Carlisle Crown Court said such crimes normally warrant a jail sentence but Airey had turned his life around since his arrest.

Airey – of Ayside – was given a 12-month suspended prison term and told to do ten days unpaid work.
