GREAT NORTH SWIM GOES AHEAD TODAY

There’ll finally be some action at the Great North Swim on Lake Windermere today.

Friday’s swims were postponed until today whilst Saturday’s one-mile waves were called off entirely.

The elite men’s and women’s races are taking place too.

Open water Olympic gold medallist Keri-Anne Payne ia among the big names taking part.
