Conservation work party at Howe Ridding Wood Nature Reserve

Join us to make a real difference at Howe Ridding National Nature Reserve. In this wonderful setting perched on the side of Whitbarrow Scar we will be bruising bracken through the coppiced woodland, improving the habitat for the benefit of rare butterflies. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and a packed lunch. Children over the age of ten are very welcome. Well behaved dogs that are under control are also welcome.
