King’s Food Bank Information and Food Donation Point

King’s Food Bank provides food boxes containing 3-4 days of nutritional, non-perishable food for those who are temporarily unable to provide for themselves due to a crisis situation. Every food box is tailor made to meet the needs of each individual and family referral. Referrals are received from many different agencies including Social Services, Age UK, NHS and CAB. Kendal Lions are hosting the coffee morning (10am-midday) and have invited King’s Food Bank to host an Information and Food Donation Point, which will provide the opportunity for people to find out more and donate non-perishable food.
