Ashlee Simpson splits from Vincent Piazza

Ashlee Simpson has split from boyfriend Vincent Piazza.

The actress-and-singer and the ‘Boardwalk Empire’ decided to end their 18-month relationship last week as their busy schedules were keeping them apart.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: ”Vincent has been working a lot, so he hasn’t been able to spend as much time with Ashlee, which has caused some problems. It was a mutual agreement to split, but things have been bumpy for a little while, so perhaps they might reconcile.”

Ashlee began dating Vincent last June after splitting from husband Pete Wentz, the father of her four-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli.

Vincent has previously spoken about their relationship and said how they enjoyed doing the simple things together.

He said: ”I’m a real low profile guy. So a date night for me is kind of curled up at home and watching something . . . have a nice glass of wine, a nice meal and we’re all set.”

Ashlee’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, recently announced they were splitting after 34 years together and she has been there to support both her mother and father.
